Personal Statement

My name is Christian Ray, and I’m a Class of 2028 student-athlete at Southwest Christian School in Fort Worth, Texas. My goal is to play college football at the highest level possible while earning a strong education in the classroom.

What sets me apart is my mindset. I’m disciplined, coachable, and hungry to compete. I take pride in being dependable, both on the field and in the classroom, where I carry a 3.4 GPA and constantly working towards improvement. I’m always working to get faster, stronger, and more explosive, and I embrace hard work when no one’s watching, which is part of my character to have integrity. I work to show God in all of my actions following Colossians 3:23, which says, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, not for men.” I want to be apart of something bigger than myself, I want to help a team win, grow as a leader, and leave a legacy of effort and excellence while showing faith.
