Personal Statement

I was a bit of late player when it came to joining football, I started off in 7th grade and I honestly wished I had played midgets. Throughout my career playing football I have learned so much about myself and the sport that I have grown so much to love. I learned on the fly most of mu career developing my skills and learning to respect all those around me by my coaches showing me, Be it either friends or opponents. Football has made me such a better person than I ever imagined it would, Helping me off the field and off the field, helping me learn time management, understanding my assignments in class and on the field. I also learned to do everything to the best of my capabilities. I also learned that I got to be open and willing to take criticism and making sure to do my best to fix that. I do my best to listen to everyones opinion and respect their thoughts but Im willing to push forward and lead by example and show my friends how to act when it comes to being serious. Theres always time to joke around but you need to know when and I feel like I embody this pretty well. I want to continue my career with football as well as majoring into Business or civil engineering where I can show my leadership skills and work to the best of my abilities. I want to be seen as the guy that can help whenever and wherever, be it on the field with forms in the weight room and even off the field in the classroom. My goals are to support and be a good example for everyone.
