Personal Statement

I have been playing football since 3rd grade. We won our league Championship as an undefeated team my 4th grade year.  My fifth grade year our defense allowed zero points scored until the championship game, and we lost 7-0.  My dad, our defense coach, was a walk on practice team player for Appalachian State University.  I remember him speaking to us after this game and telling us to always be humble and show good sportsmanship.  He also told us to always give more than we think we have every day in practice, games, and life so we know that no one else could say they worked harder for success.  I missed my 6th grade year of football due to Covid when sports where I lived we canceled.  Our family moved from NC to GA and I have been playing the best football of my life here in Middle School.  2023 began my journey with high school football. I was a starter on the freshman team and was also moved up to scout team on varsity as a freshman. Our team won the Georgia High School 6A State football championship for 2023.

I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, teamwork, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your team. I know that I have what it takes to be a leader on your team!
