Personal Statement

I am looking to go into either Forestry, Fire Protection, Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering as my major.  I am very interested in building cars and I want to further that interest in either Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.  I would like to eventually open my own custom car shop and I want to gain as much knowledge as I can on the development and engineering side to help me with that.  I am also very interested in military service, specifically joining the Marine Corps and MARSOC.  I want to serve as my father and my grand father did for this country.   I am also interested in Forestry and specifically fire fighting/smoke jumping for the US Forestry Service.  

I am an extremely hard worker and enjoy challenges.  I love working in team environments and handle challenges put in front of me by dedicating time, hard work, and learning from my mistakes and other's mistakes.  I have never been a great athlete but I put the extra work in becoming stronger, faster, technically proficient, and improving my academic prowess.
