Personal Statement

I am very motivated on the field, in the weight room, and in the classroom. I strive to become one percent better every day as an athlete, student, and leader. 

On the field, I am a versatile player and have had success playing running back, quarterback, and safety. I also play special teams as a kick returner and as the holder for extra points/field goals. After my junior year, I was named All-District (TX 6, 5-A) second team running back.  I was also awarded the 2023 Offensive MVP for my Lebanon Trail High School football team.  I pride myself on being a leader on the field and I feel like my best football attributes are my vision, elusiveness, strength, physicality, coachability, and football IQ. 

In the classroom, I have a 3.82 GPA while excelling in all advanced classes. I am enrolled in AP and dual credit classes at Collin College.   My current plan is to eventually earn a Master’s Degree in Accountancy and I am extremely motivated to have a successful post collegiate career. 

I was appointed a member of my high school football team's leadership council. I believe my ability as a leader can positively impact any team. I lead by example and demonstrate the work ethic and determination that are needed to succeed. As a member of the leadership council, I encourage my teammates to get good grades and push them to improve in the weight room and on the field. 

I look forward to the opportunity to play college football and I am excited to apply my strengths athletically and academically.
