Personal Statement

My main goals are to stay positive, give my best effort, and always try my hardest. Everyone has their own unique ways of learning and improving. I learn quickly and see things differently than many people my age and older. One of my goals is to make it to college to play basketball, but I also aim to maintain a strong academic standing. I take all honors classes not just to be in them, but because I genuinely want to learn more. As a student-athlete, I understand that being a student comes first, and it's crucial to always be on top of my game. I have great sportsmanship and leadership qualities, and I work hard to build strong bonds with my team. With a team, you're never alone.
