Personal Statement

I am a 17-year-old high school athlete based in Henderson, NV.  I come from a big family, with 4 brothers and 2 sisters, my older brothers are pursuing their college dreams in Hawaii, Idaho and Arizona. My brother Mason is currently on the Football team at Ottawa University in Surprise. My dad Will has been an important part of my athletic career for as long as I can remember, serving as both my coach and mentor and my mom has been by my side supporting me as well as giving back to the programs I have been a part of as team mom and booster club president. 

I have been playing football and basketball since the age of 6, but football has always been my passion. I am a starting Defensive Back and Receiver for the Varsity football team at Foothill High School, and I couldn't be prouder to represent my school on the field. 

I am also a member of the Varsity basketball team at my school as well as a Defensive Back and Receiver for the 200% Sports team 2EZ. 

As an athlete, I have set my sights on the future, with plans to continue my football career at the college level after graduating in 2024. Ultimately, I hope to achieve my dream of playing professional football, while also earning a degree. I believe that education is important and I want to make sure I have options beyond football.

Beyond my athletic goals, I am also a positive influence and leader on my team and in the community. I always strive to lead by example, and I work hard to push myself and my teammates to be the best that we can be. I believe that being a part of a team means supporting each other both on and off the field.

Overall, I am driven, hardworking, and passionate about both my athletic and academic pursuits. I hope to continue to grow and develop as an athlete, as a student, and as a person, and to make a positive impact in the world around me.
