Personal Statement

I aspire to play collegiate basketball. I will put as much work as needed to make it to that level and beyond. In my short time with the sport (3 years). I have made my way from Junior Varsity to starting Varsity, My senior year I was named captain of my team. And helped the team to the best record in school history 33-7. Winning our first ever district championship, 1st playoff win and making it all the way to state semifinals placing 3rd in Texas D1 3A. I will play whatever position is needed for however long. I will lay out on the floor for loose balls and run till my heart gives out for my team. I am not afraid to wake up early or stay up late to improve my game or maintain a high GPA. I lead by example. My work ethic has never been in question and never will. All of my free time consist of church, school and basketball. And that will not change no matter where I end up. I want to learn and be better. My mind set is to always be smarter and better then the day before and nothing will stop that. If given the chance to be apart of your team. I will not let myself or your school down.
