Personal Statement

I am a 3 sport varsity athlete (football, track, baseball) at Nelsonville-York High School. In track, I was named "all-Ohio" as a member of the 4x100 team; but football is my life. I run fast, I can hit, take a hit, and catch and throw the football. As a running back, if I break away, no one can stop me. In the cornerback position I am able to observe the routes of my opponent and determine their next move.  If needed, I use my speed to run them down from the other side of the field. 

Also, I know the game and my coaches have praised me for my field vision. I am very coachable, have a positive attitude, and am dedicated to the sport.  I put in the work. I have always wanted to go to college to play football and get a degree in sports medicine or another health-related field. It would be great to find a school that wants me for football but also has a good pre-health profession program.
