Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Jayden Howard. As a high school sophomore, I'm passionately pursuing the path of a scholar-athlete, committed to achieving excellence both academically and athletically. My goal is to be an elite running back; therefore, I am continuously striving to elevate my game, embracing every new opportunities to learn, and grow under the guidance of my coaches and mentors. Besides football, I've been running varsity track for two years now. I am committed to getting faster. Whether it's on the grid iron or the track, strength and speed is my game. I'm putting in the work to zoom past the competition. I'm not just about touchdowns; I'm about pushing my limits and reaching new levels of speed and skill. 

I am a natural born leader on and off the field. I am all about building up my team so we can all shine and come out on top. I try to make sure all of my teammates feel valued and unstoppable. Creating a supportive environment where everyone's giving their best and winning together- that's what it's all about for me. 

Balancing the demands of academics and sports is no easy feat, but through discipline and determination, I am driven to excel in both realms. Beyond athletics, I am an active member of the National Honor Society, upholding the values of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Additionally, my involvement in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes reflects my commitment to integrating my faith in God into every aspect of my life, including my athletic pursuits.
