Personal Statement

My name is Adeline Shultz, and I live in Georgetown, Indiana. I started my softball journey when I was four years old, and instantly fell in love with it because of my competitive nature. I started pitching in 10U and never quit. Last year I was named game MVP and Most Outstanding Pitcher at USSSA Midwest National Championship Tournament in Iowa. When I am not pitching, I typically play first base or in the outfield. Outside of softball, I run track and cross country, where I hold multiple school and state records. I also pride myself in working as hard as I do in the classroom as I do on the field. I take honor classes and have a GPA of 3.95. I am grateful for the opportunities I have had because they have made me the determined and hard-working athlete I am today. I am undecided on what collage I want to attend, but I would prefer it to have a good Pre-Physical Therapy program. My ultimate goal is to get a good education while playing the sport I love.
