Personal Statement
My love of football, as a child, led me to begin playing flag football at 4 years old. As I continued on in my football career, I fell in love with the camaraderie, hard work, and the opportunity to compete as part of a team. My love of the sport has fueled my dream to play football at the collegiate level. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change the trajectory of my whole life.
I have played both Football and Baseball from a young age. I am fortunate to continue to have the opportunity to compete at the Varsity level as a Sophomore, in both sports. I am constantly training to improve my skills, get bigger, faster, stronger, and smarter. I received the Coyote Award from my high school football program for being a team leader and for trying to lead by example, while encouraging my teammates.
I have a reputation of being very coachable, and I strive to be one of the hardest working players, and one of the hardest working recruits that you will find. As a result of my effort in the weight room, I was awarded the Iron Award by the strength and conditioning staff at my high school.
After my Junior Football Season, I was recognized as a First Team All Region Defensive Back. I was also recognized as a Second Team Punt Return. I was voted as both a Team Captain and to be our Team Shield Bearer.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a 4.5 GPA. I was recently voted as one of two students from my high school to attend the Hugh O’Brian (HOBY) leadership program in the Summer of 2024.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom, and make the most of the physical gifts and football talent that I have been given. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great teammate, role model to all my peers, and to make my parents proud.
