Personal Statement

I am Gabriel Guzman, an 11th grade athlete from Mont Belieu, Texas.  I started playing football at the age of 8, and my love for the sport has grown with time. I have played multiple positions through the years and began to focus on developing my skill as defensive lineman my freshman year of high school.  During the 2022-2023 season I excelled in my position and received the First Team All District award as well and the First Team All Area award.  Playing collegiate football has been a lifelong goal for me and I am dedicated to putting in the work to achieve that goal.  My education is very important to me as well.    I plan on following in my mother's footstep and becoming a nurse practioner. I pride myself on working hard to achieve my goals both on the field and in the class room.
