Personal Statement

My name is Ryan Murgatroyd, and I have a strong passion for football. I have been playing since I was 5 years old, and over the years, I have developed a strong sense of dedication and commitment to the sport. I also play basketball and lacrosse. While I enjoy playing all three sports, I have such an eagerness to play football. I truly love being on that field, with my team. As a team leader, I strive to motivate and support my teammates, always putting the team's success ahead of my own. I never miss practices or games, and I often attend extra trainings, camps, and workouts in my free time. My team and our success is my priority, so I do everything I can to make sure that will happen. My hard work and dedication extend beyond the field, as I have consistently made the principal's list and honors in school. I believe that my strong work ethic, leadership qualities, and passion would make me a valuable asset to your team. With my hard work, dedication, and genuine love for the game, I believe I am an important factor on a team and can play a huge role in success. These next coming years in college, I strive to be a successful student athlete. Excelling in sports as well as academics in college is a huge aspiration for me and I will do whatever it takes to get there.
