Personal Statement

Winning the 3A Arizona State Football game as a freshman has been the highlight of my high school career so far. I grew a lot as a player when I had to take the field in the playoffs and compete against seniors when I was still only 14 years old. I became aware of what it takes to be on the field as a Varsity player. I worked hard in the offseason to become the starting center on Varsity my sophomore year. I had a new head coach and offensive line coach and I was able to show them I was there to be a part of their team in any capacity they needed. We had to move up to 4A and we had a successful season even though we fell short of our goal of another state championship. 

I recently transferred to another school to finish the 2nd semester of my sophomore year. I have another new head coach and completely new team. I am used to learning how to adapt to new coaching styles and have already established myself as an asset to the team. I am looking for a college program that will be a good fit for me both academically and athletically. I know that I have the talent, character and work-ethic to make an immediate impact on your program.
