Personal Statement

Baseball has always been an important part of my life. Throughout the years it has shaped and molded me into the young man that my peers, family, and friends have come to know. Having played baseball pretty much since I could walk, I have developed many character strengths that I view as successful life skills.

Unlike most other players I am an international student who currently lives in Taipei, Taiwan. I have been blessed with the opportunity to travel and see how people live all over the world. I am fluent in Mandarin and working towards fluency in Spanish. Having lived overseas most of my life, I have developed strong inter/intrapersonal skills, I am perseverant, courageous and an open-minded, flexible thinker.
