Personal Statement

My goal for college is to become the best person I can be athletically, academically, and mentally. Some unique characteristics I have are that I have an outstanding vertical, I am very fast, and my ball handling skills are smooth and controlled.  Earning a starting position on varsity as a sophomore really formed me as a basketball player allowing me to feel more comfortable with older and more experienced players. Since the age of five, I have been playing basketball and have been a strong competitor ever since. Whether it's school, sports, or even casual games, I am super competitive. People also know me as a very kind and well-liked person.   I know I have what it takes to succeed as a college basketball player and a student. I am an excellent candidate for any team because of my work ethic, basketball IQ, and quick decision making skills.
