Personal Statement

I have been playing football since I was seven years old. Since I first stepped on the field, I have always wanted to play football at the collegiate level. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life. I am always working to improve my skills, as well as training to get bigger, faster and stronger. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates on and off the field. I take pride in my coachability and strive to be one of the hardest working players that I can be. I consider myself one of the hardest working recruits, placing as much emphasis on my studies as I do on the field. In the classroom, I study hard in order to maintain a high GPA. 

I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the football field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match for me at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to my brother and my sister and to all my peers and to make my parents proud.
