Personal Statement

My name is Anthony Hernandez and I am an incoming freshman at Kennedy High School in La Palma, California. I am currently a three sport athlete (baseball, football and basketball) who is looking to play baseball or football at the college level. I have been in a dual language program since I was in Kindergarten, so I am fully bi-literate and fluent in Spanish. Both of my parents are college graduates and both have advanced degrees, with my mother having obtained her doctoral degree in the spring of 2022. I also have aspirations for earning a college degree and higher, but for now I want to concentrate on meeting the admission requirements for college and advancing my athletic performance for college athletics.
