Personal Statement

Basketball has always been a big part of my life. I grew up around the sport and have built many connections and relationships through the game. For me it has a been a reliable activity to fall upon in hard times and good times. I can't see myself not participating in the game so soon after high school, therefore my goal is to continue playing at the next level.  My entire family is involved in the sport as my brother and father both had opportunities to play in college.  I experienced one of the most challenging things a kid can do, being coached by your own dad, as nobody will be harder on you than him.  I believe that my experiences so far have been a great strength in helping my team as I am very encouraging and expect and trust that my teammates will give their best.  I know that my increasing size, strength, and attitude can provide a beneficial service to the team.
