Personal Statement

I have big goals for myself in college, I want to work harder than anyone else and be a positive influence on everyone around me. Many guys don’t understand what a blessing it is to play football so I will always give it my all, My freshman year I dislocated my shoulder first game of the season and required surgery and the recovery time was 9 months. This was a hard time for me but I believe it was a blessing now that have learned many lessons from that including discipline and that this game can be taken from you at any time and I will never take that for granted again. Given this setback I didn’t let that stop me from switching to linebacker my sophomore year and earning a varsity start after 5 games. This past season was my junior year and was my first time ever starting a full season, I believe I did well but i’m very excited to completely change my game next year.
