Personal Statement

I am Mataye Youman and my goals are to play football on the collegiate level and even for the NFL. I have put in years of work up to this point and will continue to do so to reach my set goals. I am willing to take the leadership role in any situation I may find myself whether that is on the football field, soccer field, basketball court and certainly in my everyday life. I live my life by faith that God will guide me along the path that he has for me. I truly feel that football is that path that He has chosen for me. I feel that I will bring a leader's attitude to any program that I am afford the opportunity to be a part of. I will always be the hardest worker and the motivator to push my peers through adversity. I will continue to work hard in the classroom to be a well-rounded student athlete.
