Personal Statement
I have loved the game of football since I received my first football at 6 or 7 years old, but I didn't start playing on a Little League team until I was 10 years old. From the moment I stepped on the field to play my first game, my passion for playing football allowed me to enter a mental zone where winning was the only option. I am a loyal, dedicated player who consistently works on getting better on and off the field, but most of all, I am coachable. I am always open to constructive feedback from coaches, and I execute suggestions to become a better player and teammate. Performing in the classroom and getting good grades is important to me. It is consistently drilled into our heads at school by our teachers and coaches that we are student athletes. The emphasis is on being a good student first to achieve academic success before stepping on the field. I am looking forward to playing at the collegiate level and utilizing my skills to help a team get to the next level.
