Personal Statement

When I was younger, I wanted to be in the NFL. That has always been my goal, but I've always learned to have a plan B as I get older. While my ultimate goal is to be in the NFL, my plan B goal is to have my own construction company. My grandpa (Pops) does construction, and my uncle is remodeling his home. Tagging along with them helped me realize that I love to be hands-on. During my high school years, I elected to take courses that could better enhance my skills in that field. In college, I see that period of my life as one of personal and professional growth.

 

I am a great candidate for any team because I am dedicated, strong, eager to learn, and hands-on. I enjoy the brotherhood of football. I love to tackle and get hit. I want the relationships I have built with my coaches and fellow teammates; they have allowed me to learn the fundamentals of the game.
