Personal Statement

My name is Brock Frey and I'm currently a Sophomore at Gilbert High School in Arizona. I've always believed in the power of pursuing a college education and have seen education as the key to unlocking opportunities and striving for excellence in all aspects of life.  I've been actively involved in basketball and football and I'm passionate about pursuing football in the future.  As the team captain and starting quarterback of my high school team, i have learned the value of dedication, teamwork, and leadership.  Being entrusted with the responsibility of leading my team on the field has molded me into a disciplined individual capable of making split-second decisions, all while maintaining composure under pressure.  I look forward to an opportunity to lead as a quarterback in college as well. I'm interested in playing football at the next level because I work hard, love the game and seen as a leader on my team.  I believe I can be a difference maker with my skills, faith and dedication to the game by not only having a positive impact on my team, but also my community.
