Personal Statement

Goals - Ultimately my goal is to play QB in college with the intention of learning the position well enough to coach once my playing days are over.  I don't have unrealistic expectations, of course I would love to play at a Power 5 school and will continue to work year round toward that goal. I will outwork the guy in front of and behind me but I realize my goals may have to change based on my measurables and performance.

My freshman year I was the starting QB for a 6-1 JV team. I think I outperformed my coachs' expectations but not my own - there is always room to improve. I also was the only freshman to dress for every varsity game and took that opportunity to learn and help the team in a backup/scout role.

My sophomore year my roll was as backup to a Senior, I did not see much playing time.  As I prepare for my Junior season I'm currently battling for the starting spot with 2 rising Seniors who just transferred in.  As of 04/13/2025 I'm grading out in practice at 84%Football is a game that I treat like a job, I'm all business on the field and in the weightroom and expect those around me to be as dedicated.  

It takes 60 men to win a football game, I want my teammates to know that I will do whatever it takes to win a game.  I might get out performed but I refuse to get out worked. to their 75% & 79%, respectively.
