My name is Brad McGee, I am a 6 foot outside back from Vernon Hills Illinois and will graduate in 2013. I play for my high school, Vernon Hills High School, and a club team, Sockers FC Chicago. Within both these teams I am a great leader with an outstanding work ethic. On my high school team I have been on varsity for four years and started for the past three years. For the 2012 Season, I was elected by my teammates as Captain. This past year my club team won the Nike Classic Spring tournament. I played on the Sockers FC USSF U17/18 team at the Dallas Cup April 2012 and the 2012 Disney Showcase. I have a 3.7/4.0 GPA with an ACT score of 32, PSAT score of 69 and a member of the National Honor Society.
Academics are of great importance to me so I am looking for a highly selective school. I would prefer to go to a larger school that is located anywhere but directly inside a major city; I'm open to any region. I am looking to pursue a degree in either Business or Psychology. I believe that a small division I or any divsion II, III or NAIA school would be the best fit for me athletically. Although I would like to be a starter in my first year, I know the value of hard work and earning a spot on the starting lineup after a couple years.
