Personal Statement
I am 6’2", 190 lbs. senior at Christian Brothers High School in Sacramento, California. Academically, I attend a challenging college preparatory high school and finished my junior year with a semester GPA of 3.60, which earned me a spot on the Dean's List. My cummulative GPA is 3.10 and my first quarter senior GPA is 4.00. Additionally, I have successfully completed all of the NCAA core 16 requirements I received awards for Christian service hours as well as for having perfect attendance. I have four years of football experience and start on both sides of the ball. My primary positions is wide receiver, but I also play defensive back and return kicks. For 2012, I earned 1st Team All Conference Honors as well as Offensive Player of The Year for the second year in a row. I believe my teachers, coaches, and peers would best describe me as a very hard worker, competitive, intelligent, and a leader. I am always dedicated to whatever task is before me and strive to give my best.
I hope to receive multiple scholarships from a variety of programs that feel I am the right fit for their system. I want to be in a community that is both competitive in the classroom and on the field. To date i have received several Div 1AA offers. I intend to major in finance and history. Wherever I attend college I will make an impact on the football team as well as in the classroom. I am committed to working hard and intend to make my family proud of my efforts and accomplishments. I love the game of football and look forward to playing at the next level in 2013.
