Personal Statement

Hello, I am Ava Weleski. Welcome to my NCSA Recruiting profile page. Just to start off, I am a sophmore attending Plum Senior High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In my second year of schooling at the high school, I have maintained a 3.8 GPA and took 2 Honors classes as well. My intended major is Sports Medicine/ therapy.

Athletically, I started as a freshman and sophomore on my varsity team as a center midfielder. I helped my team win sections and go undefeated throughout playoffs. Some of my strongest strengths are dribbling, distributing the ball to both sides of the field, and striking the ball from anywhere on the pitch. Along with playing high school soccer, I play for Hotspurs Soccer Club located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As an 2006 player, I play up a year older for the 2005 girls team. I was nominated for captain last season and love to lead my team through the hard and nail biting games.

For college, I would love to go to a Division 1 school to play soccer. My goal ever since I was a little kid was to make it that far and believe that if I keep up my hard work on and off the field it will pay off.
