Personal Statement
My name is Luke Andersson. My NCAA ID is 1311550244.
For me, my collegiate goals focus around my academics. I’ve loved football all my life and have been playing since I was 8 years old. I have no plans on stopping anytime soon because I’ve always wanted to play at the next level but I know I can’t play forever. My career, however, will be fully determined on my college education, which is why my priority is to find the college that has the right academic program for me. That being said, I am still totally invested in the hard work and dedication that goes into preparing for each football season. My goal is to find the school that excites me with both their academics and football program. I want to be a part of a school where I make a difference both in the classroom and on the field. I want to be part of a team with players that share my same desire to work hard. Being part of a team is like being part of a family. Teammates have each other’s backs both on and off the field. I give one hundred percent in everything I do because I never want to look back with regrets. That applies in all aspects of life. Throughout my high school years I have maintained straight A’s both in and out of football season even with the heavy loaded honors and AP course schedule. My desire is to go above and beyond what is asked for to show that I have what it takes. I am determined to improve and become a better football player and a better person in everything that I do. I can personally guarantee that no matter what team I am a part of I will do whatever is best for the team to help them succeed. I will put in everything I have both in season and in the offseason. My hard work never stops. One thing I try to focus on is to improve those around me. Whether it is in the weight room, on the field, or in the classroom, I put those around me first. Wherever I end up, my goal is to improve the team, the school, and the world.
