Personal Statement

My name is Ethan Albers, and this is my NCSA recruiting website. I am looking for the opportunity to play collegiate football at a university that provides: 1. the best possible education, 2. faculty, coaching staff and teammates of character, 3. a competitive football program that plays to win, 4. and a career path, such as internship opportunities. I am not certain what I would like to study (leaning toward engineering), as my academic interests and strengths are in math and science (and military history). My football role is as wide blocker for my teammates, a play communicator between coaches and teammates, a leader in competiveness and hardwork, and a big target possession receiver with strong hands who can work the sidelines and the middle of the field. I am the 10 - 30 yard threat as big / strong target that catches with my hands, can move in pads, finds the opening in the defense, can go up and get the jump balls, and "gets the 1st down". Defensively I'm the last defense at Safety and a leader in the secondary, and I know that this will probably be the position I will play at the next level.  I'm in the process of getting all my senior films to make my highlight video.
