Personal Statement

My name is Mark Lawson and I am a linebacker from the Class of 2012. I attend Forest Hills Eastern High School in Ada, Michigan. I am looking for a school that will challenge me on and off the field. I currently have a 3.88 cumulative GPA and academics are very important to me. I am thinking about becoming a teacher and want to pursue a career as a football coach when my football career ends. I have always played with older players from my days in youth football to my high school career. I have always excelled against better competition and I welcome any challenge on and off the field. I hate to lose at anything and will not accept defeat under any circumstances. If you are looking for a physical, motivated, coachable, high-motor linebacker with great instincts who plays from sideline to sideline, I am your man.
