Personal Statement

My name is Isaac Dixon Jr, I am a senior at Vero Beach High School, from Vero Beach FL. Looking to graduate 2011. I will be in need for financial help. I plan to further my education by attending a college that will help make me a success in life. My interest is football and at this present time, my primary position is Strong Safety and Outside Line Backer. I am willing to try new positions as the coach sees fit for me. My height is 6�??1, weighing in at 185 pounds and run a 4.5. I started playing football when I was twelve years of age. Started out playing Recreation Football where I achieved many awards (Trophy of the year, perfect attendance, great team player etc�?�) got a chance to play in high school but not as much as I would have liked, my next goal is to play college football; work hard so, one day I can make it to the NFL that is my dream and has been since I was five years of age. Being aware that not all players get a chance in the NFL therefore I know a back up plan is needed. I would like for my major to be in Business and or Finance. Listed below is some colleges that I have researched so far : UF, USF, FSU, UCF, FIU, MIAMI, FAU, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Texas and Oregon. I have the heart for football and know that I can do anything with the willingness to learn and a great coaching staff in which I have learned these colleges have after doing my research. When USF came to Vero Beach I was out at the Dodgers Stadium every day after school watching the players practice. It was an experience that I enjoyed.
