Personal Statement

My full name is Nicholas Anderson Mask. I am 6'1 1/2" and weigh 202 lbs. I run a 4.64 hand-timed 40 yard dash and have a 295 lbs bench press max. My biggest accomplishments have been lettering three times as a Varsity football player, getting varsity playing time as a sophomore, junior, and starting my senior season as our teams quarterback, as well as being recognized as a First Team Academic All-State Colorado recipient my junior and senior season. I want to attend a school where I can continue my football career, but also receive a degree in a major that I am interested in. I would like really like to attend a school either in Colorado, or Texas, but I am open to going anywhere to go to school. My family and I are in need of financial aid for school. I am interested in majoring in a few different fields: kinesiology, sports management, education, physical education teaching and coaching, and legal studies. One of my goals is to compete for playing time as soon as I join a program, either to make the starter better or to earn his spot. I also want to be a strong leader for the entire team and be elected captain later in my career. I am looking for any and all schools that will give me the opportunity to compete and continue my football career. I promise that any school that either emails or calls me, and expresses interest in me, I will contact them back and continue communication until I finally decide on the one school I will attend. I want this more than any other athlete in the country and I promise that I will give everything that I have to the program to make the team and myself the best that we can possibly be. I am in need of an opportunity and will give more than any other player in the nation for that chance
