Personal Statement

My name is Jessi Lindsay (Bats-Left, Throw-Right). I am a 2021 catcher and utility for Stars National 18U Select out of Langley, VA. I attend Shippensburg Area High School in Shippensburg, PA. In my freshman year, I was humbled to be the only Shippensburg High School freshman that year to be chosen to play varsity. This year as a sophomore, I was the starting catcher and was chosen as one of the All-Stars for the Mid-Penn division.

As a Digital Media/Film major or Forensics major, I am looking for a college that offers Criminal Justice undergraduate majors but also offers competitive softball. My strengths are framing, picking off steals, and getting strikes for the pitchers.  Although my primary position is catcher, I am an excellent utility player. I am comfortable in other positions such as 3B, CF, and SS.
