Personal Statement

It has always been a dream of mine to be able to compete in the collegiate level, while being able to study in the medical field. I constantly try to find new ways to improve the game I love and push myself and others to be the best players that we can be.

I am competitive both on and off the court and push myself to become better athletically and academically. Even though I don’t always succeed, I'm not afraid to ask for help and welcome feedback to help me grow in the game and in life. I constantly reflect on my skills and make adjustments to improve my game. Maintaining a high GPA; going to every volleyball practice and tournament; while participating in extracurriculars, don’t come easy. I have to work hard and organize my time between school and sports. Attending a highly academic school has allowed me to obtain perseverance through late night studying after practices in order to produce good work on and off the court. It is up to me to fill the empty pages of my life's book and I hope to write a chapter on my collegiate volleyball experience filled with love, hard work, passion, and lasting friendships.
