Personal Statement

I would love the opportunity to play volleyball at the collegiate level.  I have been playing volleyball since a young age and since I was tall I have always been a Middle.  I was the starting varsity Middle as a sophomore and earned all conference honorable mention.   During my 16-1 club season, I started the year at Right side and quickly moved to outside hitter where I spent most of the season.  I love this position as it allows me to play all the way around the court, which I did not do as a middle.  I was the starting outside hitter on varsity my junior year.  I am currently playing middle and outside on my 17-1 club season.  I am a very good candidate for any volleyball team since I can play all positions at the net and have played a 6 rotation outside hitter.  I am a very versatile player.  I am a leader on the court and work hard to keep my team positive and successful.  I played basketball and fast pitch softball for many years and that has helped me be a well rounded athlete.  I only play volleyball now that I am in high school.  I work hard at my academics and athletics.
