Personal Statement

As a youth athlete, I was a part of several championship teams in multiple sports; including football, basketball, and lacrosse. As a high school freshman I elected to enroll at a different school than the neighborhood school. I enrolled at Grandview High School; which is traditionally one of the premier football schools in the state of Colorado, and plays the top competition in the state. After working out all summer with kids I had never met before I was elected team captain of the freshman team by my teammates. At the conclusion of the freshman season, I was one of five players chosen to join the varsity team for the state playoffs. As a sophomore I played every position on the offensive line, and by the end of the season was the starting right tackle on the offensive line.
