Personal Statement

I am currently a junior and third year varsity swimmer at Elkhart Central High School. I have been a starter on the ECHS Blue Wave swim team for two years and at the end of my freshman year received the "Rookie of the Year" award. I am part of the Elkhart Central Honors Academy and currently have a 4.07 GPA and am ranked 15th out of 428 in my class.
I love to swim and cannot imagine a college career without swimming being a part of my experience. I am looking for a college where I can find the right balance between the classroom and pool. I know education is everything and am excited to find the right school where I can get a great education and make an impact on their swim program. I understand the right school is out there and I am keeping my options wide open.
