Personal Statement
I am a High School Senior Student Athlete and although I may have started the recruiting process later than some, I am honored to have the opportunity to work with programs such as the NCSA to assist in the pursuit of the ideal football and academic school.
As a starter and a co-captain, I played both sides of the ball my Junior year. I was sidelined with a shoulder separation at summer football camp and as a result, was out the first 75% of this, my senior year.
Fully rehabbed, I earned back my starting position and played the final 4 games of my Senior year. I was limited to TE for those final games, but DE & LB positions are equally as important to my future collegiate football career. Coaches... I will play where ever you need me!
I am told that having a past injury may affect my recruiting. That would be an inaccurate assessment of who I am and what I have to offer. I just turned 17 years old and as a Senior, I have youth and heart in my favor. I am still growing, and I am one of the hardest training athletes you will find. I possess the desire and character to make any school proud to have chosen me to play for their school.
The coaches will tell you that I have some of the best hands on the team. That said, I look forward to whatever amount of work it takes to train and constantly improve every aspect of my game, no matter what side of the ball you need me.
Aggressively pursuing college football, I am open to explore all opportunities. Ultimately, I want to attend a college where I can earn a degree in Pre-Med Biology and have post-graduate goals of medicine (MD) and sports chiropractic (DC) areas of study.
Although I live in Arizona, I am certainly open to exploring all schools. An above average academic environment is important. I would like to stay on the west coast, but will travel for the right opportunity. I would be willing to travel further to a school with less out of pocket expense. A Christian college would be of the greatest interest, however, not mandatory. A college with a strong Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) presence would be ideal.
I just turned (October) 17 years of age, am 6'3", 220 lbs. and committed continual growth. My goal is to be 225 to 230 lbs by my year end high-school graduation. Coaches will tell you I am one of the hardest working players in the weight room, on the practice field and off the field in academics. My current GPA is 4.2 with Honors classes and I am a member of the National Honor Society as well.
I earned my 5A varsity starting positions having never played tackle football until high school. I was previously a baseball player at the first base and pitcher positions. I now play football exclusively.
My personal goals include graduating in the top 10% of my class, be a positive influence personally, athletically and spiritually for those with whom I am surrounded and to be a force on the football field of battle... resulting of course, with the honor and privilege of playing college ball.
