Personal Statement

 I want to play volleyball for a highly competitive college team where dedication, commitment, and camaraderie are key elements of the team.  In my college volleyball experience, I want to be able to strengthen my play through subjection to strong coaching styles that expect one-hundred percent effort and commitment.  I also want my other teammates to uphold these values.  I desire a welcoming environment where everyone on the team is like family.  I believe these aspects are very important to the team's overall success. 

 I am a hardworking, coachable athlete that brings commitment and dedication to any team I play on.  I've been on the varsity team since my freshman year and my team has been league champions and made it to state during my freshmen and sophomore season.  I also have played club volleyball for the last five years. Playing in high level competition has helped me develop skills as a leader on and off the court.  My leadership brings enthusiasm and motivation to my team. 

 As a student, I bring the same characteristics to the classroom.  I always try to challenge myself by taking rigorous courses, such as AP and Honors, and I have a 4.206/4.0 GPA.
