Personal Statement
I started my high school athletic career playing on varsity teams for both basketball and volleyball as a freshmen. After my sophomore year I decided to give up basketball and concentrate on playing volleyball and to play club volleyball during the winter. I love everything about volleyball. It is the ultimate team sport and I enjoy it when the team is successful.
I have always played with older players since middle school. This has challenged me both mentally and physically which ultimately has prepared me to take the next step to compete in college. I am ready for the challenge of college, both in athletics and academics.
Fun Fact: I hold the school bench press record.
It is important to me to go to a vibrant school that is strong in academics with a solid athletic program. I want my college experience to be fun and I want to leave with a great education.
