Personal Statement
Ever since I started playing volleyball, it has become my biggest passion. As I continued with the sport, I realized I wanted to take it to the next level in college. Every time I step on the court, pick up a volleyball, or enter the gym to train, I get an adrenaline rush. When I play volleyball, it is when I am the most energetic, strongest, and happiest version of myself. I love being a leader, on and off the court, and I love the competition of the game. When I started playing in 6th grade, I was a middle hitter. Then from grades 7-9 I was an outside hitter, then I made the switch to back row in 10th grade. I love being in demand of the back row. Calling the seam, diving for that impossible pancake, and passing balls drilled at me are my favorite parts of the game.
My dream is to make an impact on someone in this world. I plan to attend the college of my dream, and later attend medical school and become a pediatrician. Whether it be a patient, a colleague, or a friend, I want them to be able to say I impacted their life.
