Personal Statement
My name is Tim Watson and I graduate in 2016. I started playing soccer when I was 5 years old, and have loved it ever since. I am a starter on the Keller Timber Creek High School Varsity Soccer team and now at Dallas Solar Chelsea USSDA U16 Academy. Whether it is my club or my varsity team I am essential in making plays develop that result in creating chances, I also take the corner kicks for both club and varsity and have scored several goals and made many assists on both club and varsity. As both a freshman and a sophomore I was selected by all other High School coaches to the All-District team (Texas district 4-5A). I was the only freshman in the district to be selected to any All-District honors. As a Sophomore I was recently selected as the "All Tournament Player" in the Rex King Memorial HS tournament. I am hardworking and competitive whether its academics (4.10/4.0 GPA) or athletics. I played on the top 98 ODP state team in the state of Texas until the end of 2011 when I joined Solar Chelsea Pre-Academy in TEPAL. My work ethic both on and off the field is what has helped make me successful at the highest level in soccer and in school. I am very reliable and I never miss practices or games. I would prefer to go to a University that has a strong academic program as well as a strong athletic program. I am also interested in becoming a sports medicine doctor after my soccer career. My goal in college is to get better and be able to play at the highest level. Another goal I have is to help my team win a national championship. Thank you for reading my personal statement!
