Personal Statement
I am a 6'2" Left-Handed pitcher from Penfield, NY. I have started on the Varsity High School Team for 2 years and was named 1st Team All-County my Junior season. I have a 3.9 GPA and an SAT score of 1470/1600 and 2080/2400.
I am looking for a school that has a good balance between academics and athletics. I would like to attend a school with a highly ranked business program, and play for a team that will challenge and develop me into the best player possible. I would relish the opportunity to play at a DI school. I also know that there are great competetive teams at any level, and would consider playing where I am best matched. I would prefer to stay within a 5 or 6 hour drive from home, but understand that I may need to go further in order to find the best academic and athletic fit.
I believe that I can offer a college baseball team talent, work ethic, and a winning attitude. I know that I don't overpower hitters, but I throw strikes, hit spots and change speeds effectively. I also get a lot of movement on my pitches. I know that through hard work I can add strength, weight and therefore velocity.
