    What They Are Saying
We are looking for athletes who love volleyball and love Jesus. We are, above all, a community—serving and encouraging one another toward our individual potential. We play in a hotbed of NCAA Division III volleyball - the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul, within driving distance of other top D3 programs in western Wisconsin and the Chicago area. The Bethel Royals style of play consists of aggressive serving, high communication, fast-tempo offense, and utilizing multiple defensive systems. We are a teaching gym and if you are a "student of the game" will thrive working with our coaches. Because of the geographic location of our conference members, athletes miss very few classes - primarily for extended trips and post-season play. We can accommodate even the most rigorous majors - our athletes have completed degrees in biochemistry, engineering/physics, nursing, social work, athletic training and pre-PT, finance and accounting, education, psychology, to name a few. The Royals Volleyball Team has participated in the MIAC Playoffs for 9 years in a row (tied for the league lead), and participated in the NCAA Tournament in 2001, 2007, 2011, 2015, and 2021 - finishing our season in the Elite 8 in 2015. The Royals were ranked as high as 13th nationally in 2001, 17th nationally in 2002, 24th nationally in 2003, 21st nationally in 2007, 11th nationally in 2015, and 21st nationally in 2021. In addition they received votes in the Top 25 poll in 2004, 2011, 2013, 2022, and 2023.
