Personal Statement

I started playing football my freshman year of high school. I have developed a love for the game I never thought possible. My name is Matthew Mena.  I am 6'4 270 pound offensive linemen\defensive tackle.  I am coming up on my third year of being a varsity starter for my team. The things I love most about football are the team and physical aspects.  A huge thing about football is the team, if 10 guys do their job and one guy doesn't, the play doesn't work.  I also love how physical you can be in the sport, there aren't many sports where your job is to just physically fight the guy across from you.
