Personal Statement
I have been playing contact football since I was five years old, and have not looked back since. I always played up an age group so my older bother and I could be on the same team. I now want to take my football career to the collegiate level because football is my passion and is always a daily part of my life. As a student athlete football has and can continue to open up other opportunities for a brighter future.
My goal is to become a college graduate with a degree in Criminal Justice, after graduation I want to become a college football coach. As a student athlete I would be a good fit for any team, I pride myself with being a positive and inspiring leader. As a leader, I lead by example on and off the field. As a four year starter at the quarterback position I challenge myself daily to work harder than the previous day; I also take a positive approach to inspire, uplift and motivate my teammates as well.
I mirror and follow my offensive coordinator when I’m on the field. When I step into the huddle my coaches and teammates will have confidence and trust in me that I will get the job done. God, character, integrity and perseverance are the core values that I live by. I believe I’ve been blessed and I try to be a blessing to others by paying it forward when opportunities arise.
