My name is Brody Fortunati and I am currently a Junior at Vacaville High school.  Thank you for taking the time to view my profile.   

Since I was five I have always been involved in many sports including football, baseball, basketball, 7v7, wrestling and rugby.  However, when playing football I discovered the love of the game and how it is the ultimate "team" sport.  If one member of the team does not complete a task the play cannot be successful, and I have enjoyed leading my team mates to this success.   During the times of COVID, I continued to train and get my team mates together so we can continue to grow and bond as a team.  Our freshman 2020/2021 season we were fortunate enough to get a short season and the training we did helped us be ready to play.   Due to multiple teams in our league not having enough players to make a freshman team we played outside of our league and still held our own and won against JV teams.  I ended the season with being the Offense MVP for the Vacaville High Bulldogs and was honored to be the captain and starting QB of our team.

My freshman season ran right into the next, junior varsity.  There was no rest between seasons and we continued to work.  This season required leadership and I was happy to step up and be captain.  We completed the season as the undefeated MEL League Champions.  As quarterback, I completed 68% of my passes with 1446 yards, 21 passing touchdowns, and 2 rushing touchdowns.  

As a Junior I was the starting quarterback and Captain for varsity for the 2022 season.  Vacaville High always sets their schedule tough during pre-season games to prepare us for the MEL league.  We ended the year being undefeated MEL Champions and made it to the second round of the Division II playoffs.

When off the field I continue to set goals and standards for myself to ensure I am successful in my studies.   I continue to lead my teammates and motivate them to do well in their classes and the importance of school.  My involvement in student council activities and being the Vice President of my 4H group.  My ultimate goal is to be a doctor, specifically a cardiac surgeon.  This field will take years of dedication and I am up for the challenge and hope to get a chance to play football while I work on this goal.   Playing football at the collegiate level has now become my first goal on my way to becoming a doctor.  My competitive nature keeps pushing me to be my best.  My current GPA cumulative GPA is a 4.0 and I hope to continue to challenge myself these next 2 years and beyond.
