Personal Statement

My name is Drexel Gibson Jr. #16 , I am currently a Sophmore at Beckman High School in Tustin Ca.  What make me a great candidate for your team?

 I am a player with cofidence, integrity ,honor and loyalty and experience. I am a player that listens, follows direction and put the work in at practice. I am coachable, willing to learn and being placed in positions, I have never started in and I will play those position for my team.

  The reason I am different from other recruits in character, athletics  and academics. Because I am one of those players that have came back from being hurt, to having failing grades and over all well rounded individual that never gives up. My character is willing to help and encourage my team, push my team to the next level. 

 I train wether, I am sick, tired or hurt, I will do what ever, I have to do to recover and play for my team and work hard. I had low grades at one point in my life, I have turn myself around to bringing all my grades up, to the needed academic grade to keep playing. I am a player that is very passionate about the game and my team, I enjoy being out on the field being apart of family not just a team.
